Description
Create your own Leaf Wall Art ‘Falling Leaves’ display for your living space. They look wonderful arranged on any wall. Whether it’s in your lounge area, kitchen, dining room, bathroom or your bedroom.
Each leaf is handpicked (foraged) from local arboretums and national trust locations. I then use these real leaves to make impressions in clay to produce my unique ceramic ‘Falling Leaves’.

Making Process
During the making process, I use a real leaf to make an impression in clay and then cut around the impression leaving a subtle border. Next, I manipulate the clay leaf to give an attractive ripple or curve mimicking the natural form of the orginal leaf. I use a wide firing range clay to make each piece and depending on the final colour variation, I fire the piece twice between 1055 – 1260 degrees. This allows different colours to mature in the kiln depending on the glaze recipe.
Product Details
Dimensions vary depending on the leaf used, so the largest ‘Falling Leaf’ design is typically 13 x 15 cm leaf face. The smallest design is 8 x 10 cm leaf face. Essentially the ‘Falling Leaf’ you purchase is a true reflection of the real sized leaf I used in the making process. I can make any size if you send me the leaf to use, or ask me to find a particular leaf. Anything is possible and I love making bespoke commissions!
Variations
Every leaf used in the making is unique, so this means every ceramic leaf is unique. I aim to match colours to the images shown as closely as possible, however there will be variations in shade and depth of colour. I always send customers images of the available items I have in stock so you will often have choice. I’m also happy to make bespoke ‘Fallen Leaves’ for you if you don’t see what you are looking for in this selection. You can always post me your own leaves!
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth or gently dust with a feather duster (be careful not to knock the leaf off the wall though!). Avoid wetting the sticky loop attachment as this may loosen the loop. All you need to provide is the nail/screw in your wall.
