palo santo is one of the most fragrent woods in the world and comes from the Bursera graveolens tree, native to the dry tropical forests of Peru, Ecuador, and other South American countries/
the wood is harvested from trees that have died naturally and then aged on the forest floor for several years, allowing the unique, aromatic resins to develop. This “holy wood” is prized for its fragrant smoke, used for centuries in indigenous rituals and now popular in aromatherapy for its cleansing and calming properties/
